Summer Vacation & Happy Birthday 🥳🎂 🎊🎉

Today's my birthday so there was a very small celebration!  After we've picked up Keko'a from UH Manoa we all went to BR for 🍦, thanks to its $1.99/scope offer.  Ma'e Ma'e and Keko'a each had 2 🍦.  Had to go to the one on King's Street because Aina Haina haven't had "Beach Day" since 4ever 😫

Speaking of UH Manoa, kids are now enjoying their summer vacations - with summer 🏫!  For 6 weeks, Keko'a has been attending UH's JESSE program, going to different high security sites to learn about engineering and stuff (he's doing drone).  Ma'e Ma'e, on the other hand, has been taking DOE online music course - in case she wants to do UC's campuses.  Keko'a, seeing that he'll get "lot's of help" from Ma'e Ma'e, is also taking the same course, again, in case his university requires an arts course.

Just got both their report cards last week and both kids were 🥇 in their respective grades.

We almost purchased a Quest this week, but the one we really wanted, with only 38K miles - owner suddenly changed his mind and decided not to sell, and the one close to our home had issues (felt like tranny) so we couldn't make an offer high enough to complete against a repair shop.  Tranny repairs for CVT Quest is about $4k-$8k depending on the condition of the replacement, whereas repair shop itself could do it at 1/3 of the price (no labor charge since mechanics are the employees and parts discount from suppliers), so our offer was almost $1k less than the repair shop.  Oh well, there's always the next one...🤷🏻‍♂️
