End of KAC 2023 Winter Co-ed season

And who would have 🤔 that Ma'e Ma'e team has won the championship 🤨 with a 4-2 record?  It was a VERY close game, and both teams actually played pretty bad (too many selfish plays), but with less than 10 seconds left, her team was down by 2.  The little boy who decided not to pass an open person got fouled, and missed both his free throws, but the opposite team didn't go for the rebound, so her team had the ball and another player got fouled.  This 2nd player (1 of the best in her team) made his free throws so her team went up by 1 point, and with 5 seconds left, the opposite team decided to go for a half-court 3 pointer!  Clock wind down with the air ball and that's the end of game.  Today's NBA influence...😣

Next will be KAC again for gals only this time, in March, followed by Performance basketball in April and June, with the possibility of a basketball summer camp (also by Performance) and we'll see if that will get Ma'e Ma'e into Kaiser's gal 🏀 team.  Frankly, her defense is amazing (all the spectators said the same thing), and that's all Performance credit (she finished the defensive clinic).  However, her offense is still very passive (waiting for someone to pass her the 🏀 instead of creating her own opportunities), so hopefully it's going to another level after the 2 Performance clinics (both will focus on offense).

For Keko'a, Kaiser's JV ⚽️ still has a perfect win record, and he's played a regular season game.  Hasn't scored yet (for the regular season, he did score in pre-season), but I've no doubt that he's going to the playoffs especially since the JV team is 💪🏻...

We put up our Christmas tree past weekend.  It was quick because, well, mostly Keko'a I did it with minimal help from Ma'e Ma'e and mama...wonder what 🎁 will 🎅🏻 leave this year 😉?

Also received our property assessment today.  Guess what?  Maybe C&C finally admitted its mistake from last year and lowered our value to almost exactly what we were asking (difference in pennies and dimes).  Or it could be lousy Honolulu RE market, but I seriously doubted it since the figure was REALLY close  - like I said, pennies and dimes!

Finally, we've our new license plates for the vehicles, because (1) we really didn't like what we had for our 3; and (2) we didn't like the old Juke's digits.  Here's what they are now:

cube has no plate, because it's now in storage mode.  Saves us about $500/year on registration and another $400 on insurance.
