End of Evangelion...NVMS Basketball season

Team B lost them all - every single game.  However, Ma'e Ma'e is the top scorer for the team.  She attempted many more shots in the last game, though only made 1, but the rest were all rimed out, so lack of luck there mostly.  So glad that we've now signed her up for P. 🏀 clinic, because that's what gave her the confidence to know how to defend and to do some offense, and most importantly, take shots!  Let's see if we're able to sign her up with some club leagues, something that we're looking into at the moment.

Speaking of sports, Keko'a's still doing ⚽️ at Kaiser!  He knew that he's one of the bottom players in terms of skills, so have no high hope to make the team.  We still encourage him to keep practicing and doing his best though, and are glad that he's also doing Math competition for the school too (1st match net Kaiser 7th place out of many schools).  We're keeping 🤞🏻 that he'll continue to put efforts on the things he's doing after school, because, after all, he just aced another school quarter (and so did Ma'e Ma'e).

Looping back to Ma'e Ma'e, she just submitted her Grade 4 ABRSM 🎹 today.  We're pretty sure that she's on the level of merit but she's hoping to get a distinction (all up to the examiner).  Today's also the start of the fall break and we all have plans for the kids to do, with one minor hiccup; we're hoping to have our home retented for termites but Pest Tech never got back to us about a date - something that it said it would work it out back in mid-July.  Utter disappointment with PT currently.  Anyhow, our plans include checking out Halloween stores, dining, driving around in our new car*, and possibly going places - depending on Ma'e Ma'e's physical situation 😉.

Our Titan XD's in the shop right now.  It finally has its 1st oil and fuel filters change last week, but then out of the blue, 🚚 started stuttering few days later at a stop night.  Unfortunately, neither the dealership nor we was able to reproduce the issue so far.  It'll stay with the dealership until Monday, so hopefully, maybe a gas pocket from the fuel filter change...otherwise, another 10K miles before its 2nd service.

*a mini-mystery for now - stay tune for next blog post on the entire purchase and the reason why!  And no, not because we've totaled any of our 3 other 🚙.  Now maybe we should go for "Wibbly," "Wobbly,""Timey" and "Wimey" for our plates!  🤣

We're thinking of having our flu/covid shots this coming week but, knowing its effects, decided to go against it until November long weekend, so we won't waste 2 days staying in bed...
