And it's sold (Sales Pending actually)!

Home went on market around 10/18 after all the...well, most of the remodeling was completed (floor is still being repaired at the moment I'm composing this entry).  We're lucky - for all but 1 day there was no rain and the sky was blue.  Plenty of home showing appointments during the week, and on the weekend there were over 25 open house visits.  Sunday when the storm came there were still 8!  Then back to sunny weekdays and we still had about 5 more.  All in all about 50+ showings for the entire 10 days (very typical at this time for home selling time frame).  We got 4 offers: 1 at $1.5M (that withdrew), 2 at around $1.6M, and 1 at $1.7M!  Needless to say which one we accepted.  According to our realtors Ron & Jo Ann Lim, that's a record for RWS 3/2.5 on MLS!  Well, 30 days with no contingency so we were advised not to move back in to live the rest of the days...(to prevent any unexpected damage or to dirty up the place).  So, hotel stays it will be until December 😞.  Was hoping one final Thanksgiving celebration at home...

As for our household items 99% of them are on way to Hawaii at the moment, and we still yet to have a home there.  There are a few that we're focusing in now that we've sold ours.  Hopefully, we don't have to overbid like crazy for them.  Vehicles will be picked up in December.

Attaching some images of the before/after/moving.  There's also a website for the home after staging!

During the staging/showing period we have to stay in Hyatt House (lot better than Motel6 but $30/day more, but we decided to go because of the Costco offer).  We swam there and played basketball too, so, not too shabby 👍🏻

(Recap of the past) We celebrated Mid Autumn Festival at home in Sep, and got the "Twin Short Swords" from Dojo as Ma'e Ma'e's birthday present 🎉🎁🎂
