1st sad news (minor) of 2021
After 13+ years (it was there before we moved in to our current home in 2007), our beloved - a few times very angry - Burger King has shut down, for good. It was once a very popular joint, with lots of model planes and place nicely kept. However, about 5 years ago, many of its model planes were removed, with only 2 or 3 giant lanes left, and that place has gone way downhill since then. Its only private meeting room (probably the only BK in the nation to have one) smelled, and the real helicopter was deteriorating quickly with parts being removed instead of being refurbished (due to rust). Lots of planes because it's located next to a regional airport with a flight museum next to it. If I've to venture a guess, corona virus plus the m/hotel next to it was bought by the government and converted into a homeless shelter/corona virus shelter may have a little bit to do with that.
