Free Day @ California Academy of Science

Me idiotic family got lucky today. SO LUCKY.

Kids got up early - lucky #1.
Kids were ready to leave early @ 09.15 hr, vs the usual @ 10.30 hr on a Sun - lucky #2.
Idiotic parents thought that it's way to early to get there by 10.00 hr (opening @ 11.00 hr), so went to buy lunch, and got lunch in just 5 min, vs the usual 15 min - lucky #3.
NO TRAFFIC on 19th St in S.F. - HUGE lucky #4.

Got there by 10.15 hr after spending 20 min to find out where it was (due to road closure from SF Marathon), and you think parking would be crazy...

and that's not where the luck ended.

600+ people were already lining up when we got there. So dropped of everyone and went to look for FREE parking...like, 1 min from the place, when the rest of the park was all fully parked - lucky #5.

While waiting in line, the # of folks grew to over 1000 people! Got in within 15 min when the doors were opened - lucky #6.






It was fun time and all!

Lucky #7 - kids fell asleep, and all got up when we drove pass the BK closest to home for free Onion Rings again (already had it on Sat)!

What a Sunday.
