Thanksgiving weekend wrap-up!

Spent some add'l time with Bill-Soak b4 he headed back to Magic Castle in Disneyland...yeah, that's what Leonard thinks where Bill-Soak lives. Got a little mini-Tee time with him and Caitlyn...




Went to Gilroy Gardens the next day - note to myself: NEVER GO TO GG AGAIN DURING THXGIVING WKEND!

Lots of people, but quite a # of rides were broken (due to so many people using it - these are old rides, u know, and not supposed to run continuously with the greatest speed due to faster turn-around time), or closed (due to prep of end of season / festival of lights). Since there are fewer rides, even more people had to line-up for the unpopular ones for a long time! The line to the choo-choo train was so long, that we just gave up. In fact, we went from 11.30 hr to 17.00 hr and was unable to finish all the rides due to wait time. What a rip-off, so lucky that we only paid $15. Well, it's now the end of GG's 2011 season, so won't go there until next Apr/May (already noted myself NOT to go during the opening weekend since lots of rides were closed in 2011 OW - lack of maintenance DURING the closed season).
