PortFest @ RWC (yuck!) + other fun times

That has to be the yuckiest festival EVER. I mean, come on, guys, spend some $ and have the walkways power washed! Instead of doing so, duck poo was every where, including the bouncy castle place where children hang around. Kids have to step on poo to get on the bouncy rides. YUCK!

We got on the boat, but boy, no one advertised what it's for anymore (vs last year), and it's obvious that the boat hasn't done much other than sitting in some dock, waiting for action. Dead flies by the windows, seats super clean ('coz no one ever used them), but a lot of carbon soots coming out from the emission exhaust. I wonder what type of fuel the crews were pumping into this thing. I guess that the "project" (to have this type of ship for SF Bay Area) is now dead :(

Finally saved up enuf dough to have my kids ride in a plane - 1st CLASS!

What's more, despite straight FAA regulations, the pilots were kind enuf to let them pilot the plane for a short period of time, while we were up in the air...

Actually, we went to Hiller Aviation Museum last week thx to free admission from the Smithsonian's promotion. Boy, the place is getting old (esp the staff that are keeping the stuff from falling apart). That's sad, 'coz it is an excellent local airplane museum to begin with. A lot of the displays are no longer "interactive" - there's only 1 that allows you to see the engine works and the propellers moving (those 80's gadgets). At least the kids enjoyed it, so no major complain at all!

We also went to Gilroy Gardens, and are planning to go again soon (around Halloween time when they have the special display). All thanks to the $14 admission fee. However, last time we went - kids seemed to have lost interest a lot (like, it's no big deal whatever!). We also went to 2 birthday parties, different weekends, at the same place call Pump-It-Up. It's an all right place, but there's really nothing much other than bouncy castle. There were 6 in total, pretty much 2 of each style, 3 in a room. I prefer Chuck-E-Cheese or Safari Run, to be honest. Anyhow, Caitlyn is now a member of the Hoover's kids (well, soon to be, but her names on there already, and she's acting like she's part of it)

(This is the 1st party, pajama wear.)

(This is the 2nd party, "regular" wear.)

Leonard's big time on bike these days. Looking one for him, but he's kinda addicted to "mo-tea-cycle" (yup, that's how he pronounces it). Don't just wanna get him a reg 16 inch kid bike, but one with with dual suspension. Will be getting one once price drop below $60!

But boy, he sure does look good on a moteacycle, don't u think?

As for Caitlyn, trikes good for me now...

No, bro, I don't wanna ride with you!

In the mean time, since we don't have money, we'all just having fun playing with megabloks!
