Thanksgiving Hawaii Vacation

It was GREAT!!!!!!!

It was fun, and we were lucky...it's supposed to rain EVERYDAY; it rained only on 1 nite (Sun. nite). Transportation was all by local bus - cheap (for tourists) and quick (even minimal wait time!). There were so many Japanese tourists, and almost all stores in Waikiki have sales that spoke fluent Japanese. Furthermore - 3 Luis Vutton stores, 2 Chanels, 2 Pradas...and 100000000 ABC Stores (the most frequently distributed store in Waikiki - you would see 1 ABC store every 10 secs when you walked!)

The swimming with the fish at Hanauma Bay was great - the water was so clear. The same, however, could not be sad for Waikiki Beach - it's quick mirky and kinda dirty too! The waves @ Waikiki Beach were HUGE though!

The Diamond Head Crater gave me nightmares on stairs now :( but it was ok to walk up the top (45 min.!). Pearl Harbor...well, been there, done that when I was a teenager, so nothing new there (it's not like they finally pull up the battleship). All in all, an excellent R&R trip for the thanksgiving holiday!
