Bandai Store @ Sony Metreon* is no more :(

*In fact, it's not even Sony Metreon any more! Metreon has just been sold recently to 2 mall/real-estate development groups.

This is sad, especially to San Francisco's anime fans. However, it was (the closing of Bandai Store) an outcome that I had already foreseen since 2 years ago, when Bandai essentially gave up its Gundam franchise here in the US. Moreover, Bandai hardly has any big name anime (DVD or toys) to fulfill the Gundam shoes. Last but not least, more famous cartoons, such as Teen Titans, have their toys being sold @ Wal-Mart, Target or Toys'R'Us, at a cheaper price then the Bandai store. Oh well, I guess SF anime fans will have to spend their money back on the Japanese retailers...
