New Nissan/Infiniti @ New York Auto Show 2006

Boy, both the new Altima and the new G35 look stunning! Fresh new exterior & interior, new 4th generation VQ engine, beautiful looking dash (esp. the G). Most importantly - CVT: standard (talk 'bou fuel efficiency - it's closing in @ $3/Gallon in the US!).

The Maxima...meh...is gonnabe all new next year (NY Auto Show shows the current, "restyled," version). It'll probably look much like the Japan's Teana, as I've seen one test driving in Burlingame/Millbrae, California yesterday morning.

With the new Versa (Tiida), Sentra (Sunny), Altima and the G35 (Skyline 350GT), Nissan should benefit from its car sales, and hopefully, offset the drop in truck/SUV sales due to the high, and rising, gas prices.
